About
For almost thirty years I have studied one thing: why boards fail not for lack of talent, but because the space where they deliberate is poorly designed. I am founder and director of the Center for Corporate Governance and Society at ESE Business School (Universidad de los Andes). Beyond ESE, I have taught in the executive programs of leading Latin American business schools —IAE, IPADE, INALDE, PAD and IEEM—, with research stays at Stanford (Rock Center) and the Drucker School, and guest classes or talks at IESE, London Business School, UCLA and Harvard. Alongside academia, I advise boards and business families, and I sit on the board of a family office. What I write is born from what I see in the rooms. Every Tuesday and Thursday I share Better Boards, Better Value: a provocative idea for your next board meeting. The full archive, my essays (in Spanish and English), the videos and the downloadable chapters of my book are at alfredoenrione.com. → Subscribe and start there: alfredoenrione.com
