Passionate about life, people and business. Co-Founder of ZURU, the third largest privately held toy company worldwide, my mission at ZURU was to create inspiring, innovative, and creatively stimulating play experiences for children across the globe. One of my greatest achievements was growing and leading our global team of over 5,000 direct and indirect employees, of which two-thirds were female. I am honoured to have ZURU recognised as the NZ Entrepreneur of the Year and personally to be a recipient of the prestigious 2020 Wonder Woman in Manufacturing award by WIT, Licensing & Entertainment. Having spent 17 years in China building and expanding our core ZURU business, I returned to New Zealand with my three wonderful children. This transition allowed me to diversify my portfolio and venture into new spaces and categories. I am driven by the desire to make a difference in market-disrupting sub-sectors, with exciting innovations on the horizon. In 2022 I founded ZEIL, a cutting-edge, data-driven job marketplace with a user-centric approach. Our vision is to become the most beloved global recruiting platform, and we’re on track having, secured the #1 spot on the app store within hours of launching in August. The new ‘Tinder for jobs’ app offers a fresh, intuitive approach to connecting job seekers and employers, that starts with a simple ‘swipe right to apply’.
