As CEO of AXIAN Group, my focus is steering a dynamic, impact-driven Pan-African group that builds critical infrastructure and services for Africa's economic and digital future. We operate across telecommunications, digibank & fintech, financial services, energy, and real estate, guided by a singular mission: giving more possibilities to more people to grow, create, care for those they love, and shape a better future for themselves and the continent.This vision extends far beyond traditional business operations. Through Yas (AXIAN Telecom) and our expansion across Africa, we accelerate high-speed connectivity and digital inclusion, as well as digitally-enabled transactions and nano loans. At the same time, our commitment to sustainable development drives investments in transformative renewable energy, including for underserved communities, through our WeLight platform.True progress requires active participation in shaping regional ecosystems. That philosophy guides my role as Chairman of Yas and WeLight, as well as my contribution as a supervisory board member at Jumia, where we scale e-commerce to support a pan-African market.
