About

I’m a multi-unicorn founder, serial technology entrepreneur and a passionate mentor and investor in the tech space. In my current role, I’m founder and CEO of Harness, the $5.5B AI software delivery platform that brings AI to everything after code, empowering teams to ship software faster, safer and smarter. Previously, I founded Traceable, the API security startup, before merging it with Harness in 2025 to bring application security and software delivery together in a single, unified platform. I also founded and led AppDynamics, an application intelligence company that provides enterprises with real-time insights into application performance. It was acquired by Cisco for $3.7 billion in 2017. In addition to running Harness, I’m involved in developing the next generation of technology companies through mentorship and investment. In 2018, I co-founded the VC firm Unusual Ventures with John Vrionis. The firm currently has more than $1 billion under management. I’ve been honored to receive a number of leadership awards, including EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026 Bay Area Award and Forbes “Best Cloud Computing CEO to Work For.” I received my BS in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and I’m an inventor with more than 25 US patents under my name. I’m also an active thought leader who shares perspective on the future of AI and enterprise software delivery, as well as scaling and leading technology companies.
