About

I dream of an African tech ecosystem where funding and opportunities are available to all, regardless of gender, location and background. That’s why I co-founded Mstudio.Mstudio creates and scales startups transforming the informal economy in Francophone Africa: 17 ventures launched since 2022, €8M+ raised by the portfolio, and one of the region’s largest applied-AI operations — 200+ proprietary AI agents in production across studio and portfolio companies.Alongside the studio, we partner with governments and leading institutions — GIZ, the European Union, the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs — on programs advancing Francophone Africa’s digital ecosystem: startup support, digital talent and AI adoption. Mstudio also runs a multi-country studio expansion with sovereign and corporate partners. Before Mstudio: I helped scale Wave, Francophone Africa’s first unicorn, as Country Launcher across five markets; ran regional operations at Bolt in East Africa; and co-founded BuuPass right after college — winner of the $1M Hult Prize, presented by President Bill Clinton.I speak at events on Africa, tech, AI and female entrepreneurship. I also dedicate 2–3 hours per month to consult for early-stage startups: https://www.entourage.africa/fr/expert/leslie-ossete/Feel free to reach out.
