"If it is to be, it is up to me" - my favourite quote of all time. For over 20 years, my life has been measured in milliseconds, every breath, every stroke, the difference between victory and defeat. I am an international competitor, a 21-time SEA Games Gold Medalist, Singapore National Swimmer, SEA and Singapore National Record holder, with extensive experience at World Championships, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Youth Olympics, and other international events. My career has taught me that elite performance requires discipline, resilience, and consistency, both in sport and in life. Beyond the pool, I have leveraged these values into professional roles, including Senior Associate at EY, corporate consulting, and driving high-performance strategies that translate athletic excellence into business impact. I am also passionate about community impact and athlete development. I founded Team Heartwork, a community initiative focused on giving back, and have served as a mentor and coach for swim clinics aimed at empowering children and youth to embrace an active lifestyle. My work as a brand ambassador for companies such as Under Armour, Speedo, Reebok, Visa, and PulseActiv has allowed me to bridge sport, community, and corporate engagement. Throughout my journey, I have learned that true strength is not measured by medals alone, but by the ability to keep showing up, to mentor, and to inspire others, even when no one is watching. I am committed to supporting the next generation of athletes to achieve holistic academic, personal, and sporting growth, while continuing to compete at the highest level on my own terms.
