About
I help investors and organizations make smarter decisions about real estate, infrastructure, and data centers, using satellite data and AI to measure what's actually happening on the ground.I'm the founder of Geospatial Data Consulting and a Data Science PhD specializing in GeoAI, satellite/Earth-observation analysis (Sentinel-2, change detection, construction monitoring), and location intelligence. My work spans data-center siting and feasibility (power, land, grid, and climate constraints), building-stock and floor-space estimation, urban climate-risk analysis, and site selection across commercial real estate, retail, and urban planning, including a multi-year, ~100-city global real-estate analytics program.I've collaborated with institutions including Bell Labs and the European Commission. I'm the author of three #1 Amazon bestsellers (Connecting the Dots, Geospatial Data Science Essentials, and 101 Steps to GeoAI), and my Hungarian data book, DATA, made a Forbes list. My work has been featured in The New York Times, The Economist, GQ, and New Scientist. I've taught 60k+ students, and I founded The New Science of Maps to teach the geospatial and AI methods behind this work.I keynote corporate events and conferences on AI infrastructure, satellite intelligence, and what location data reveals about where the economy is actually moving. Recent stages include a Magentaland stage interview for Magyar Telekom, TEDx Danubia, the Marketing Summit at Müpa Budapest, and corporate audiences at Audi and Raiffeisen Bank.
