I am passionate about finding good training for lawyers. I often talk to law students and try to help them navigate the hidden legal market. I even wrote them a free booklet on how to try to find the hidden job market. I'm a trial attorney in Chattanooga, TN. I have practiced in a wide variety of organizations and I have held many different roles within the criminal justice system. I started my career as a line attorney with Legal Aid and then moved to the Missouri State Public Defender's Trial Division in Kansas City, which is its largest trial office. Later, I became a State Prosecutor and Special Assistant United States Attorney. For many years, I had my own firm in Golden, Colorado, where I focused on serious state and federal criminal defense. In Colorado, I was a member of the District of Colorado's CJA Panel, a member of the Standing Committe, and a member of the Selection Committee. For 7 years, while in practice in Colorado, I served as a Municipal Judge for the City of Arvada. I presided over general trial dockets and conducted a number of bench and jury trials.
