Deputy Prime Minister of Romania, coordinating key reforms in: • state-owned enterprises governance • administrative simplification and reduction of bureaucracy • digital transformation and project coordination across government I bring to this role the same principles that defined my work in civil society: strategic thinking, integrity, teamwork, and concrete results. Before joining the Government, I spent more than a decade building Dăruiește Viață / Give Life into one of Romania’s most impactful civic initiatives. As co-founder and vice-president, I helped lead major infrastructure, advocacy and legislative projects aimed at transforming Romania’s healthcare system. Our milestone achievement: building from scratch, equipping and donating the first new pediatric oncology and radiotherapy hospital in Romania, a €53M project fully financed through private donations. Over 2012–2025, Dăruiește Viață invested over €63M in Romania’s healthcare system, raised from 500,000+ individual donors and 10,000+ corporate partners. Key results include: • building the new Children’s Hospital (€53M) • creating 20 sterile rooms for stem cell transplants (children and adults) • renovating oncology units in 8 hospitals around the country • building 2 modular ICU hospitals during the pandemic • donating 17 tons of PPE and medical equipment • equipping dozens of hospitals nationwide • leading advocacy efforts that changed legislation restricting cancer patients’ access to treatment abroad • supporting the creation of Romania’s first governmental programme for advanced leukemia diagnostics A consistent theme in my work has been defending citizens’ rights, reducing bureaucratic absurdities, and pushing institutions to serve people with fairness and dignity.
