About
I am an old-fashioned scientist (known for research that seeks to discover and describe law-like patterns). But I study a 'new' area – marketing (buying behaviour and brand competition). My book "How Brands Grow" (Oxford University Press) is the first to present scientific laws and what they mean for marketing strategy. http://marketinglawsofgrowth.comMy other books cover other marketing stuff. I recommend them :-)https://marketingscience.info/books/https://scholar.google.com.au/citations?user=Vug6DqUAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=aoI have the pleasure of directing the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute at Adelaide University. The world's largest and most famous research institute studying marketing. The Ehrenberg-Bass Institute is staffed by 60+ really interesting scientists. Their pioneering work is supported by corporations around the globe such as Publicis, General Mills, General Motors, Henkel, Lindt, PepsiCo, Mondelez, Mars, Novartis, Pandora, and many others. Our discoveries are published in Institute reports for our sponsors, and international academic journals. I currently serve on the editorial boards of 5 journals, and am a member of the Royal Zoological Society of South Australia, and Friends of the Botanic Gardens. Come visit Adelaide, it’s amazing.
