About
Robert Downey Jr. is an entertainer, entrepreneur, investor, philanthropist, and producer. He's the founder of the FootPrint Coalition and an Academy Award nominated and award-winning actor. His performances anchored the Iron Man and Avengers franchises which established Marvel's cinematic universe and he's received awards and critical acclaim for his work in Less Than Zero, Chaplin, Zodiac, and the ongoing Sherlock Holmes franchise. In 2009, Susan Downey and Robert co-founded Team Downey, their production company whose credits include "Sweet Tooth", "Perry Mason", and "The Judge". At the same time, Robert and his investment team at DowneyVentures backed startups including Maker Studios. Most recently, Robert launched FootPrint Coalition, a media, investment, and nonprofit collective focused on accelerating technologies and initiatives to mitigate climate change and help humanity adapt in the face of our current climate emergency.
