About
Terryanne Chebet is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Sable Africa, a Pan-African business intelligence platform built on a single conviction: that Africa's economy is one of the most consequential stories of our time, and it deserves intelligence infrastructure equal to that weight. Sable Africa delivers daily market briefs, deep-dive investigations, and real-time coverage across key African economies, serving the fund managers, policymakers, institutional investors, and corporate strategists who make decisions that shape the continent. The idea behind Sable Africa did not come from a gap in the market. It came from twenty years inside the rooms where African economic decisions are made, and the persistent frustration of watching those decisions get made without the quality of intelligence they deserved. Terryanne is widely credited with transforming how business news was consumed in Kenya. She conceptualised, produced, and hosted Kenya's leading business news programmes, bringing rigour, access, and editorial ambition to a space that had seen little of either. Her work built some of the most trusted relationships in East African finance, policy, and corporate leadership, relationships that now sit at the foundation of what Sable Africa is becoming. She brings to this platform what two decades of broadcast journalism taught her: that the best intelligence is not just accurate; it is timely, contextualised, and built for the people who actually need to act on it. The infrastructure Africa's economy deserves is being built now. This is that work.
