I like solving hard problems, with great people, and having an even better time doing it. First I earned my PhD solving hard problems in cell biology. Turns out those same instincts translate pretty well to growth marketing. Currently leading Acquisition at Scribe, where I'm doing exactly that.β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬π§π;ππ₯ - πͺπππ§ π ππ’I build acquisition engines that scale startups from early revenue (<$XM) to $XXXM+ ARR.I spent 12 years being a scientist β made novel biomedical discoveries and published my research β but my best discovery was that my real superpower is growth marketing. π₯ But I'll never stop being a scientist. I'm always testing hypotheses; analyzing data; and getting results. Same first principles, different medium. Now my lab is the internet (paid digital, content & SEO, organic social). I use it to reach and convert the right people, at the right time, for any product. My approach: I have strong opinions about what great looks like, but zero attachment to how it's "supposed to be done." I combine sharp instincts with rigorous testing and a healthy disregard for playbooks.
