Most generative AI projects I see stall somewhere between the demo and production.My work is closing that gap from inside the team. I sit with the engineers, work in their backlog, and leave once they can run what we built without me.As Forward Deployed Engineer and Solutions Architect at CloudFaster, I focus on agentic AI for AWS environments.- Agent-driven penetration tests with AWS Security Agent (now part of AWS Continuum), open-source tools and our own tooling that produces a signed report. On a SaaS platform, the agent found critical authorization flaws, including cross-tenant access and self-granted admin rights, that manual testing had missed. Every finding still goes through human triage, because an agent working alone gets things wrong.- FinOps automation with agents that reads Cost and Usage Reports and sends cost alerts to the team on WhatsApp.- An alert-triage agent for AWS, built on SNS, SQS, Lambda and DynamoDB, with a catalog of more than a hundred alert types.- Automated Well-Architected reviews of the security and cost pillars, used as the starting point for a formal review.I'm not a classic software developer. I came from datacenter, infrastructure and SAP, and today I build with AI coding agents (Kiro, Claude Code, OpenCode) under human review, with least privilege from day one. In my view, what most teams adopting AI are missing is an architect who ships with agents and still owns the security decisions.Before CloudFaster I spent almost four years at AWS, in Professional Services and then in Training & Certification, where I became the first instructor in Latin America promoted to Mentor. Before that, I led SAP HANA ERP implementation projects, then the migration to AWS, and also ISO 27001 projects.Talks and training are also part of my day to day.
