About
CEO and business leader focused on transforming complex organizations, driving sustainable growth, expanding market share and creating long-term value. My career has been shaped by leadership at the intersection of strategy, capital allocation, business transformation and execution, with experience across organizations such as Arthur Andersen, Wilson Sons, Marriott Hotels & Resorts Latin America and strategic consulting, particularly in capital-intensive, regulated and rapidly evolving environments. Currently, I serve as CEO of Hospital Moinhos de Vento, one of Brazil’s leading healthcare institutions, with strategic collaborations and international affiliations involving institutions such as Johns Hopkins Medicine and Mayo Clinic. My executive experience spans corporate strategy, new business development, commercial strategy, finance, M&A, turnaround, operations, technology and innovation. Across these areas, my focus has remained consistent: strengthening competitive position, expanding markets, building capabilities and translating strategy into measurable results. I see leadership as a fundamentally human responsibility. Companies are part of the societies and regions in which they operate, shaping opportunities, knowledge, relationships and progress. I believe growth and responsibility should reinforce each other, creating environments where people can thrive while organizations contribute meaningfully to their communities. Beyond executive leadership, I am an investor, board member, entrepreneur and author. I also contribute to discussions on business, philosophy, economics, leadership, innovation and healthcare as a columnist for MIT Sloan Review Brazil and Veja Saúde. The defining responsibility of leadership is not simply to manage organizations, but to continuously reinvent them, making deliberate choices about where to compete, where to invest, what capabilities to build and what talent to develop today to remain relevant tomorrow.
