I lead through complexity — regulated markets, high-stakes decisions, and organizations where trust is earned daily.My work has been centered on insurance and financial services across Latin America, with experience spanning executive leadership, regional strategy, business transformation, distribution, operations, claims, governance, and culture. Most recently, I served as CEO of Allianz Colombia and Managing Director for Allianz Commercial Latin America, leading teams across markets with very different realities while balancing local accountability with regional ambition.I believe leadership is not about control or certainty. It is about care, clarity, and accountability.Care for people and institutions.Clarity to speak honestly when it is uncomfortable.Accountability to decide on time and own the outcome.These principles have guided my work in strengthening organizations, aligning strategy and culture, and building teams capable of delivering sustainable results without losing their humanity.What defines my leadership is not only the breadth of roles I have held, but the posture I try to bring to them: building high-trust teams, reducing fear as a management tool, and creating cultures where performance and dignity reinforce each other.Mental health and well-being are not side conversations for me; they are leadership responsibilities. I advocate openly for vulnerability, recovery, and self-growth as sources of strength — not weakness — because organizations change when people feel seen, challenged, and supported. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are part of that work, not slogans.Beyond my executive responsibilities, I contribute to the public conversation on leadership, trust, organizational culture, and country through writing and speaking. I believe results matter — deeply — but how we get them matters just as much.I hold a Law degree from Universidad Sergio Arboleda and am fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. I am motivated by mentoring others, building resilient institutions, and proving that it is possible to lead with rigor without losing humanity.
