About

I'm Divine CHUKWUEMEKA, a Migration Researcher who has busied herself with the study of the movement of people from one place to the other. My expertise and mastery of the subject of "Japa" has also earned me the name "Japa Queen" To this end, I carried out a research titled "Migration Trends to Canada among Young Nigerian Professionals ()" to study the patterns and trends of migration amongst the specified category of people and recommend solutions to prevent "brain drain" that's at the verge of ruining the country. I am a TEDx speaker, I gave my talk at TEDx Anchor University. I demonstrated dexterity as I spoke on the "Bitter-sweet experience of Japa" I employed the storytelling technique to highlight the two sides of migration, using fictitious characters- Mr. Callistus and Nurse Adaobi to explain how migrants can be presented with bitter or sweet experiences. I am a Graduate Research Assistant at CEPDeR, Convenant University where we work to proffer solutions to the problem of Africa thereby reducing emigration. I am also the founder of Linked On LinkedIn, a platform that helps people navigate their way on LinkedIn.
