About

CEO | Transforming Autonomous Technology | Advocate for Innovation and Education As the CEO of Baykar, Turkey’s leading autonomous technology company, I have been privileged to lead our team in pioneering cutting-edge defense solutions. Since joining Baykar in 2002 as an engineering manager, I have worked to transform the company from its early stages into the world’s largest exporter of armed drones, reshaping modern defense systems with innovative and reliable technology. In addition to my role at Baykar, I am passionate about fostering technological innovation and education. I co-founded the Turkey Technology Team (T3) Foundation, which empowers young people with opportunities in technology and entrepreneurship. I am also a founding organizer of Teknofest, the world’s largest international aerospace and technology festival, attracting millions of visitors and young competitors each year to celebrate innovation and inspire future generations. Additionally, I helped establish SAHA Istanbul, Europe’s largest industrial cluster for aerospace and defense, bringing together nearly 1,200 companies and 20 universities. My contributions to global defense and international relations have been recognized with numerous state honors from several nations, including the Order of Merit from Ukraine and the Karabakh Order from Azerbaijan. These accolades reflect my commitment to collaboration and excellence in advancing technology and diplomacy. I hold a degree in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical University and a Master’s in Financial Engineering from Columbia University. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing and spending time with my wife and four children. Let’s connect to discuss technology, innovation, and global collaboration.
