I spend my days telling people not to be so professional they become boring, so here's probably one of the more honest 'About Me' sections you'll read on LinkedIn. I spent the first 8 years of my career working in advertising, where I learned how to observe cultural undercurrents, strategise bold ideas, and turn them into memorable stories. But truthfully, I got sick of selling people things they didn't need. The realities of the industry became hard to ignore, so I knew if I wanted to make a genuine impact on the world, I better go create something meaningful of my own. So in 2018, I founded F*ck Being Humble to change the way the world views self-promotion and empower individuals to be unapologetically proud of their achievements. What started as a community to inspire women to stop underselling themselves, has now led into a global movement, TEDx Talk, two best-selling books, an engaged following of over 200k people and a business I'm incredibly proud to call my own. Now, I spend my days delivering keynote speeches, corporate training sessions, and workshops that challenges the generic career advice we've all become numb to, and instead motivate people with straight-talking insights that people can action immediately. My work focuses on reshaping both individual mindsets and corporate cultures, and I've been very fortunate to have worked with the likes of Apple, Nike, Adidas, Google, Unilever, Netflix, Sky, BBC, Visa, Diageo and many more. AND....when the right brief comes along, I also act as a brand consultant advising businesses and founders on how they can add more purpose to their campaigns, create movements and leave a legacy on the world that they want to be known for. My mission has always been pretty clear...to help people and brands think bigger, speak louder, and act braver.
